Ensemble feuervogel was founded in 2017 at the Freiburg University of Music and currently consists of the recorder players Nura Natour, Tabea Popien, Mathis Wolfer and Felix Schlenker as well as the percussionist Min-Tzu Lee.

The ensemble's repertoire ranges in sound from delicate tones, birdsong and fiery wildness and extends from the Middle Ages through the Renaissance and early Baroque to the modern era. Through their wide spectrum of music genres, the ensemble also open their concerts to other forms such as visual art and dance.

Since 2020, Carine has enjoyed the ensemble, adding another voice and dimension to the group and have since then given many performances in Germany and Austria. In 2024, they realsed their first CD - The Queen’s Masque, under Covellio Classics.
