What cel­e­bra­tion of the most bril­liant and extrav­a­gant music of the 15th cen­tu­ry could be any more fes­tive than the offi­cial open­ing of the MA Festival 2025? The 15th cen­tu­ry was a par­tic­u­lar­ly fas­ci­nat­ing chap­ter in music his­to­ry. It was when the reper­toire became more refined, but also more exu­ber­ant. The 24 musi­cians of France’s Sollazzo Ensemble are high­ly expres­sive per­form­ers of vir­tu­oso Franco-Flemish music that is brim­ming with splen­dour and depth. An ide­al start to a ten-day feast of music!
